Test Sessions

Entry into the amateur radio world is via an FCC-approved test. Test sessions offered by the Black Hills Amateur Radio Club are held at the School of Mines EE/Physics building.  A map to the building is on the Club Meetings page.  Here’s a list of the scheduled sessions. February 17 (2018) 9am The Hot Springs Amateur Radio Club also conducts test sessions.  Their next scheduled session is on January 20, 2018 at 10am at the Hot Springs Library.  Contact is Alonzo Seaboldt at 605-745-4989.  Please call before the test session. Please bring your original license (if any) along with a copy of it, and a picture ID.  The cost of the test is $15.  Please bring check or cash.  Exact change is appreciated.  You can find more information at the ARRL web site.
